Workshops in Murrindindi in October!

At Storytelling Victoria we get very excited when members offer events outside of the metro area. Lana Woolf has created some wonderful opportunities for those of you living in or near the Murrindindi Shire

Magic Mirror Workshop for the young: Oct 3

“Magic Mirror” is a two hour workshop for primary school students who are interested to develop personal storytelling skills. Lana will take the participants through a series of processes to develop a personal story (about whatever the participant chooses) and then lead some group activities to develop the story structure. The participants will practice their stories in groups, with peer feedback and leave the workshop with a personal story.

A tried and true workshop loved by young and old alike, the Magic Mirror workshop uses a simple storytelling technique to develop a personal story in an engaging and fun way. The idea behind Magic Mirror is to give participants an opportunity to develop the skills necessary to tell personal stories about experiences in their lives.
